About Cat Games for Cats
Free screen games made for cats, with nothing to buy, nothing to download, and no ads for a paw to tap.
Why we made it
Most cat game apps cost a subscription, interrupt play with ads, or stop after a minute unless you pay. Cats don't read ads, but they do tap them, and the game ends. We wanted something better: a site where you press play, set the screen down, and let your cat hunt.
How the games are designed
- Colors cats see: cats see mostly blues and yellows, so our fish, bugs and mice are yellow, sky blue and white on dark backgrounds. Never red or pink, which look dull to cats.
- Movement that looks like prey: darting, pausing, hiding and dashing, the way real fish, bugs and mice move.
- Big, simple shapes: cats see motion far better than fine detail.
- Paw-proof full screen: no buttons your cat can hit. A person holds the corner circle to leave.
- A real ending: every game reminds you to finish with a toy or treat your cat can actually catch.

Who's behind it
Cat Games for Cats is a small, independent project: one cat-loving human and a household of very serious feline testers. Every game is played by real cats before it goes live. So far, the fish game is the clear favorite.
Our promise
- Free to play, with no account and no app to install.
- No ads inside the games, ever.
- We collect as little as possible. See our privacy policy.
